Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a form of functional neurology. Muscles are connected to every single system in the body - the respiratory system, digestive system, reproductive system, circulatory system, lymphatic system - every single system. Muscles are organs, and organs communicate with one another in the body. Therefore, we can use muscle tests to find which system is in dysfunction that is causing you to feel pain or hinder function. For example, if you are experiencing low back pain, a regular chiropractor will locate the dysfunction in the low back as there is most often a misalignment in the vertebrae of the low back. AK can uncover where the core problem lies, giving you a deeper diagnosis or explanation. Whether the problem lies in your digestive tract or lymphatic blockage - Using A.K. to find missing piece will allow your body to heal quicker and respond faster to treatment, because we will be able to treat the actual problem, not just the symptom.

Functional medicine requires a strong knowledge of human physiology and how the body’s different systems influence each another. Everything affects everything else, especially the immune system, the hormone system, and the nervous system. This allows us to discover the causes of chronic symptoms and seemingly mysterious ailments. Many people have visited numerous doctors and clinics, often told their lab tests are fine and nothing more can be done for them.

Low Level Light Therapy

We offer this 30 minute service at our clinic to enhance the benefits of our patients care. Low Level Light Therapy has been proven by science and approved by the FDA to decrease pain and wound healing. Among other amazing benefits like reducing acne and wrinkles. We have noticed exceptional results to patients health when we added this service to our clinic.

Medical Massage Therapy

Medical massage is targeted, muscle work. Treatment is based on specific problem(s) the patient presents or has been diagnosed with. After assessment/ evaluation and in depth intake/conversation the therapist and patient establish what the plan for treatment is using many modalities including Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping, IASTM, and more.

Therapeutic Exercise

This is an hour long session where you will be guided through a series of planned physical movements and activities intended to remediate impairments of the musculoskeletal system. Each session is goal oriented and tailored to the individual's physical needs whilst incorporating the four components of exercise: endurance, strength, balance, and flexibility.

Cupping Therapy

This is a treatment that uses cups to create vacuum suction on the skin. The primary goal of this treatment is to decrease inflammation and reduce pain. It is commonly used to address sporting injuries, muscle and joint pain and for myofascial release.
